There are lots of local attractions within a few miles of Newcott Farm Cottages, depending on your interests.
There are many guided walks offered by Dartmoor National Park and many other organisations.
We are blessed with lots of local pubs and restaurants serving good local produce. For children there are many good friendly attractions such as Pennywell farm and the Miniature Pony centre.
For information about Dartmoor and it’s history a visit to the High Moorland centre at Princetown is a must.
Within a short drive there are many National Trust properties and RHS gardens such as Rosemoor
The coast is not far away and a visit to the old port of Dartmouth is a lovely day out.
For Steam Train enthusiast there are two railways nearby at Buckfast and Kingswear.
Dartmoor Llama walks offer a range of walks on Dartmoor including a picnic with local produce.
